Remember a few weeks ago when IHOP became IHOb? Well, jokes on us cause it's not even TRUE!
A golden marketing stunt indeed, the restaurant chain used the name change scare to introduce their new burgers and we all thought we had to say goodbye to the smiley face pancakes.
Now, IHOP is giving away 60¢ short stacks on July 17th to promote IHOP’s 60th birthday celebration and possibly say "sorry" for the whole lying for publicity thing. As they stated in a recent tweet, We’d never turn our back on pancakes (except for that time we faked it to promote our new burgers)
Oh, IHOP...you got us this time! Good game, good game.
