With most of the games for today over or underway, we have already seen a preview of what to expect for this season.
Dodgers
The Dodgers are already in mid-season form as they struck for eight home runs in their first game of the season.
The Dodgers were not the only ones that look ready today as the Yankees, Phillies, and Cubs all put up numbers on opening day.
Yankees
The Yankees were fueled by a 3-run home run for Luke Voit. Tanaka threw 5.2 innings only allowing one run.
Mets
In Washington, both DeGrom and Scherzer threw quality outings. DeGrom pitched 6 shut out innings as Cano sent one deep in his return to New York
Phillies
Bryce Harper was welcomed into Philly today with a standing ovation. Harper went 0-3 with a walk in his Phillies debut.
With more games left to play, there is plenty of baseballs to watch still tonight.
