Virginia Claims First NCAA National Championship
Now, this is what you call redemption! Just a year after infamously making NCAA history by becoming the first No. 1 seed to fall to a No. 16 seed, Virginia…

Just a year after infamously making NCAA history by becoming the first No. 1 seed to fall to a No. 16 seed, Virginia has earned their first National Championship.
Heading into OT, the Cavaliers got the best of Texas Tech 85-77 on Monday night in Minneapolis.
De'Andre Hunter led the team with a career-high 27 points, scoring the game-tying 3 that pushed the final into extra minutes.
At one point during the matchup, a, presumably, Red Raiders fan threw a tortilla on the court, a Texas tradition, that caused the refs to pause the game.
Congrats!
