Doug Baldwin Retires
Former Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin has recently announced his retirement from the NFL. Baldwin took to Twitter yesterday to write a letter to his younger self through a series of tweets and pictures.
During this thread of tweets, The former wide receiver told a story of his journey in the league and the people that he has come in contact with.
Because the end of one journey sees the beginning of another. And guess what.. it will be one hell of a journey. You will feel emotional and physical pain you never knew existed. Baldwin will finish his career with 123 games played. He has 493 receptions and 6,563 yards with 49 touchdowns.
His 7-year career was spent entirely as a Seattle Seahawk.
in 2015 he reached a career-best 14 touch down receptions in a full 16 games.
The Stanford alumni won a Super Bowl with the Seahawks in 2014 and is a two-time Pro Bowler.
