The starting pitchers for the 2019 All-Star game have been announced! Dealing for the American League will be the right-handed ace from the Houston Astros, Justin Verlander.

Verlander is 10-4 in 19 starts this year. He has an ERA of 2.98 with 126.2 innings pitched.

The National League will throw out the Starter from Los Angeles. Dodgers lefty Hyun-jin Ryu will take the mound on the bottom half of the inning.

Ryu is 10-2 in 17 starts this year. His ERA is 1.73 in 109 innings and he has a shutout to compliment it. Ryu has only walked 10 batters in 17 games. The American League will have plenty of opportunities to put the ball in play.
