Who Would You Build Your MLB Franchise Around?
With the MLB all-star game now over, we got to see a display from some of the best player around the league. If you were to start an MLB franchise in your home town, Who would you want to build around?
Would you take Mike Trout? Trout has been the best all-around player in the league for about a decade now. Natural power, speed, and strength separate Trout from a lot of the other players in baseball. Always in the MVP talks and he consistently comes up clutch when the Angels need him.
Taking an ace first would not be a bad idea either. There are so many dominant pitchers in the league you could choose from a wide range of players like Jacob deGrom or Max Scherzer. Both CY Young award winners, these guys can really dominate a ball game when on the mound.

Or would you take an infielder? Picks like Alex Bregman or Nolan Arenado do not seem like bad picks either. Aside from third base, you could choose a shortstop like Lindor or Torres, or Seager. You could even start at first by taking Pete Alonso or Cody Bellinger who is versatile enough to play first and the outfield.
