Free agent Center Ryan Dzingel and the Carolina Hurricanes have recently come to a deal. The deal between the two is set to be for two-years and $6.75 million.

When October hits, Dzingel will be entering his fifth season at 27 years old.

Dzingel is a player with a lot of talent that we have not yet seen. Not to fault his early playing career in Ottawa.

He also reached a career high in points with 57 in 78 games last year.

Dzingel will be a good second or third line center and can complement the wingers in Carolina.

The signing is good for both sides and at the right price too. Coming into free agency, Dzingel looked like he would be a $4 million a year type player.
