Jerry Jones' Cowboys are valued at $5 billion. Their value has increased slightly by about 4% this year.
What makes the Cowboys so special though?
for years now, the Cowboys have been listed as the most valuable team in sports.
Since 1989, the Cowboys have won 3 Superbowls, but have not won since 1995. In fact, they have not even been to the Superbowl since.
Dallas has lost in the divisional round in their last 5 playoff appearances and lost the Wild Card games in the 4 before that.
How can a team with so little success in the last 23 years stay ahead of a team like the Yankees, Patriots, or Warriors?
It's actually admirable that Cowboy fans have stuck this invested into their team despite the lack of success they have had winning a championship.
What is your favorite team in sports? Are you willing to stick by a team like Dallas?
