The Panthers are going to finish out the preseason a fair 2-2 after beating the Steelers at home on Thursday night.

After the time on the clock ran out, the score was 25 for the Panthers and 19 for the Steelers.

Carolina was seemingly able to pull away with the victory after throwing two interceptions and giving up a forced fumble touchdown return.

Will Grier looked good after completing 11 passes on 18 attempts. He also threw for 189 yards and a touchdown while adding another interception to his list.

Taylor Heinicke went 7/10 on his night. Heinicke added another two touchdowns and an interception to his totals on the preseason as well.

The leading receiver for the Panthers last night was DeAndrew White who caught 4 passes for 94 yards. Right behind him was Temarrick Hemingway with 3 receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown.

Joey Slye, the prospect kicker in the Panthers Organization kicked another 59-yard field goal last night and still could have kicked it from a longer distance. He went 1/2 on attempts last night and made both of his extra points.

When the season begins next week, the Panthers will host the Rams at 1:00 p.m. EST inside of Bank of America Stadium.
