After being cut by the Raiders earlier in the week Antonio Brown signed with the New England Patriots only a few hours later.
After signing with the Patriots, a sexual assault claim came out against him.
The claim came from the Southern District of Florida and was filed by his former trainer.
The victim, Britney Taylor has accused Brown of sexually assaulting her during three separate occasions all in 2017 and 2018.
Antonio Brown's former trainer Britney Taylor - who filed a sexual assault lawsuit against her former client Tuesday - is willing and planning to meet with the NFL next week, which is as soon as she can, sources tell ESPN. First, Taylor is getting married.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) September 11, 2019
According to sources, Brown had both kissed her without consent and forcibly raped her at a later point in time.
The league has already stated that they are going to investigate this case and take it very seriously.
Bill Belichick did say Antonio Brown will practice today. As for whether he will play Sunday, Belichick said they will take it “one day at a time.” https://t.co/BeqKy4CsK3— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) September 11, 2019
With this being said, Antonio Brown was able to show up and practice with the team today up in Massachusets.
It is unknown his status for Sunday.
Should the NFL allow Brown to play this weekend?
What precautions will the leagues take with him moving forward?
