Even though Seattle does not have a team name yet and will not officially come into the league in 2021, they have started to hire their scouting staff.
What is so special about Seattles scouting staff?
They have hired the first female scout in NHL history. Cammi Granato is a 48-year-old USWNT legend. You can also see her featured in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Congrats to @CammiGranato on being named a pro scout for the expansion NHL Seattle franchise. Couldn’t happen to a better person and hockey mind. ????

What does this mean for women in hockey moving forward?
When will we see the first female in a teams front office?
