The NHL season will begin tonight as the reigning Stanley Cup champion St.Louis Blues will host the Washinton Capitals.
For the first time in franchise history, the St.Louis Blues will raise a Stanley Cup banner from the rafters.

Puck is set to drop at 8:00 p.m. and will air on NBCSN.
Players to watch for this game will include former ‘Canes defenseman Justin Faulk to see how he can adjust to his new team.
Washington will also be interesting to watch starting tonight. With high hopes to win the division and another Stanley Cup, they will rally behind the best goal scorer in hockey with Alex Ovechkin.
