These medical facilities will provide care to underprivileged members of the Charlotte Community. Tears streamed down the six-time NBA champion's cheeks as he was present for the grand opening of the Novant Health Michael Jordan Family Medical Clinic. "This is a very emotional thing for me to be able to give back to a community that has supported me over the years," Jordan said.
Michael Jordan donated $7 million to Novant Health. He first announced the $7 million donation in 2017. The clinic will provide vital access to primary and preventive care to members of the community.
