Charlotte Job Fair Provides Second Chances to Those with Criminal Records
Second chances are sometimes hard to come by, this job fair is helping to make a positive change.
The Work It Charlotte job fair is unique because nearly half the prospective companies are second-chance employers, which means they’ll hire someone with a criminal record. It is a job fair hosted by the City of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County’s Unified Workforce Development and Reentry Partners. This job fair is hosted every four to six weeks in Charlotte and helping to truly make a difference within our community.
Looking for a new job or a career switch? Join @cltgov and @meckcounty's Unified Workforce Development & Reentry Partners at the Work It Charlotte! Job Fair on Nov. 4 from 10-1 at 3205 Freedom Dr.! It's open to all ages 16+ with part-time & full-time positions available. #cltjobs pic.twitter.com/MAQ6VZ9XHO
