The second overall pick in the 2003 NFL entry draft has been declared dead at the age of 38.

Charles Rogers is a former All-American wide receiver at Michigan and a first-round draft pick by the Detroit Lions.

The stand out wide receiver had his professional career cut short by injuries.

Although the news is out that he has been deceased, there is no official cause of death yet.

In only three years in the National Football League, Rogers played only 15 games and recorded 440 yards and 4 touchdowns.
