With news coming out of Charlotte this week that Panthers owner David Tepper is unhappy with “long-term mediocrity,” many are wondering what the future holds for the Panthers head coach.
David Tepper is not happy. He didn’t sleep well after the 29-3 drubbing the Falcons put on the Panthers this past Sunday and he’s not the kind of guy to allow losing habits to continue.
That’s why every single game is important from here on out, especially for Marty Hurney and Ron Rivera. But the remaining schedule is less than ideal for Carolina.
@ New Orleans
vs New Orleans
It starts this Sunday in New Orleans against the division-leading Saints. Coming off of a 34-17 win at Tampa Bay, the Saints sit at 8-2 and with the team finally healthy they are a legitimate Super Bowl contender. This season could get away from the Panthers in a hurry if they don’t figure out a way to improve in two key areas: Stopping the run and protecting the quarterback.
What do you think the Panthers record will be at the end of the season?
