South Carolina Animal Sanctuary Seeking Volunteer Swine Snugglers

Oink oink, if you’re bored and looking for something to do….take a road trip to South Carolina and go snuggle with a pig. Yes, a REAL LIFE pig!

The Cotton Branch Farm Sanctuary in South Carolina is seeking volunteers to cuddle with more than 100 rescue pigs to get them ready for adoption. Cuddling helps socialize the pigs by getting them used to human contact and interaction. How sweet is that?

According to the Facebook post, your duties will include: belly scratches, cookies, sitting with and even just talking to the pigs. All of this can get them ready for their new home.  There are about 100 pigs that need homes due to a hoarding situation in Kentucky last year.
