Photo by Michael Heiman/Getty ImagesWith all the conference championships, the NCAA Championships, and spring sports being cancelled nationwide you can't help to feel for the student-athletes who have trained their whole lives for these moments, especially the seniors who had their last games or final season stripped from them.
Responding to mounting pressure from schools, athletes, and fans it seems the NCAA will be allowing an additional year of eligibility for student-athletes in spring sports and potentially winter sports as well. While certainly, all athletes won't take advantage of this I whole-heartedly agree with giving the ones who would like to the opportunity. Kudos to the NCAA for doing the right thing!
