Publix Grocery Stores will Close at 8 p.m. Starting Saturday
Better get to the store before it closes. Publix officially announced Friday (3.13) that they will be adjusting their store hours due to the coronavirus. Starting Saturday (3.14) the Publix grocery chain said stores will close at 8 p.m. until further notice.
In Charlotte, the closest Publix is located off of South Blvd. in Southend.
Publix currently operates 1,243 stores in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia.
To better serve our customers, give our store teams time to conduct additional preventive sanitation and restock product on our shelves, beginning Saturday, March 14 we will adjust store and pharmacy hours companywide to close at 8 p.m. until further notice. pic.twitter.com/Lc0jRLtZwh
