North Carolina Weather Warning For Dog Walkers
Attention all you Charlotte dog owners out there, today is going to be a HOT one.
A post showed today from the North Carolina Weather Authority that walking your dog today in the direct sunlight is a NO GO. The reason being that the sunlight and hot concrete will burn their paw pads. A lot of human-made surfaces can burn your pooch’s paws, including concrete, metal, pavement, sidewalks, and asphalt.
The temperatures can be seen below. Stay safe out there and keep those pups cool.
