Complain about the drivers in Charlotte all you want, but the traffic around here could be a whole lot worse. Personal finance website WalletHub just came out with their list of the best and worst states for driving. North Carolina is among the better ones.

WalletHub judged all 50 states across 31 key indicators of a positive commute, including things like average gas prices, the share of rush-hour traffic congestion, road quality, and more. Texas ranks as the best state to drive in, while Hawaii is the worst. North Carolina is #3! South Carolina is only 31st on the list, so maybe that's who's slowing down your commute. Just kidding!
