Written by Phil Harris of WKQC
The 2021 NASCAR season is upon us and Busch Beer, the official beer of NASCAR, is hiring. They want to give one lucky fan an epic, full-time, paid position on Kevin Harvick’s racing crew. The official job title is “Busch Crewmaster” with the Stewart-Haas Racing team. The new team member will attend races throughout the season, train and fly with the team, and take on other crucial responsibilities. Plus the gig pays $50,000!
If you think you have the NASCAR knowledge, and whatever else it takes, you can apply for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in a way that has never been done before. Tune in to the Daytona 500 Sunday, February 14th at 2:30 p.m. ET on FOX for the first-ever live job interview via NASCAR race. That’s right, the questions will be asked during the race broadcast and on the Busch Twitter page. You can also see the full job description and apply at busch.com/jointhecrew.
The “Busch Crewmaster” position is inspired by The Crew, a new Netflix series starring Kevin James as the crew chief of a fictional NASCAR team. The show debuts on Monday, February 15th. Here’s a peek:
