New Index Reveals the Top Five U.S. States for Well-Being
New research by Moneypenny ranks all 50 states to reveal which are going above and beyond with well-being. So what are the top five? With over half of Americans experiencing stress at least once a day, it’s more important than ever to find ways to remain relaxed and to look after your physical and mental wellbeing.
After analyzing disposable income per capita, national park sites, average precipitation, number of residents per health club, ‘beauty salon’ search volume, and ‘therapist near me’ search volume, leading outsourced communications company, Moneypenny, has created an index highlighting the states taking self-care seriously. Using weighted metrics, each location was given a total score and was ranked against all other states.
The Golden State comes out on top with 28 national park sites and one of the highest (69) search volumes for ‘beauty salons’ and New York places second with a disposable income per capita of $60,185! You can see more on this index here. North Carolina…we ranked as number 29! Not to shabby if I do say so myself.
