Tax Day Freebies and Deals for Monday May 17th
We all love us some tax day freebies and deals. Once again thanks to COVID-19, the federal government has extended the income tax filing deadline this year from the customary April 15 to Monday, May 17th, 2021.
Some of you might be putting that extra tax money away for a rainy day…but some of you might want to treat yourself to a donut, BBQ sandwich, $5 margarita, FREE kids’ meal, or other delicious deal. Bar Louie: After you’ve popped those documents in the mail, a little Happy Hour (or a lot) will be in order. Head to Bar Louie where Monday through Friday they offer specials on 16-ounce draft beers, select premium liquors, house cocktails, all glasses of wine, and signature martinis. You’ll find 50% off select bar bites and flatbreads as well.
Bd’s Mongolian Grill: Monday night is Kids Night at bd’s Mongolian Grill. Kids 10 and under can enjoy their Unlimited Salad and Homemade Soup Bar and one bowl of Stir-Fry for just $3.99, including a drink, with the purchase of one adult entrée.
BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse: Maybe the government checked with BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse when they scheduled the Monday deadline. Knowing you can head over and enjoy Half Off Pizza Mondays when you order a large deep-dish or tavern-cut pizza and a $5 BJ’s Brewhouse Margarita makes filing a little more palatable.
Bertucci’s Italian Restaurant: You’ll be hungry after all that paperwork and nothing satisfies quite like spaghetti and meatballs. At Bertucci’s Italian Restaurant two of you can enjoy their spaghetti and meatball dinner for $20 or if there are four of you, it’s only $36. Your dinner comes with freshly-baked rolls and a salad.
Burntwood Tavern: Every day of the week, not just that manic Monday, you can enjoy Happy Hour deals at Burntwood Tavern from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m., including $6 signature cocktails, $4 draught beers, $5 house wine, $3 bottled beer and Happy Hour Plates from $5 to $8, served in the bar or on the patio.
Chili’s: Rewards members can receive emails and texts for a FREE meal for kids 12 and under with the purchase of any regular entrée at their favorite Chili’s restaurant. Cinzzetti’s: If you’re in Colorado or Kansas, take your kids (12 and under) to Cinzzetti’s for an All You Can Eat Italian Feast, where on Monday and Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m, kids eat for FREE.
Dickey’s Barbeque Pit: Grab a Pulled Pork Classic Sandwich from Dickey’s on Monday and pay just $4 for their More for Monday special. Order online or on Dickey’s app. Offer good all day on Monday.
Fuddruckers: At participating Fuddruckers locations, on Mondays, from 4 p.m. until close, get a $1.99 kids meal with the purchase of an adult meal.
Jimmy John’s: Beginning May 3, with Tax Day looming, Jimmy John’s wants to help you get a little more for your refund money. Their $5 off $20 promotion runs through June 13. Place your order online or through the Jimmy John’s app and be sure to use the code “5OFF20.”
Johnny Carino’s: On May 17, celebrate filing those taxes with the entire family at a Johnny Carino’s location near you where you’ll find 50% off family platters on Monday after 4 p.m.
Krispy Kreme: Grab a FREE Original Glazed® Doughnut and a Medium Brewed Coffee on your way to the post office Monday morning, courtesy of Krispy Kreme.
Moe’s Southwest Grill: Get yourself to Moe’s Southwest Grill on Monday for the Moe Monday deal. Currently, it’s any bowl or burrito, plus a drink and chips for just $8.55.
Noodles & Company: Rewards members can enjoy a one-day special at Noodles & Company on May 17. Buy any size entrée and get a bounce-back for $5 off any order of $17 or more to use on your next order. The $5 bounce back is valid for two weeks after it’s issued.
