Rand Paul blames '80s pop sensation Richard Marx after receiving a suspicious package. Wait what? Senator Rand Paul recently received a suspicious package full of white powder. He suspects it was sent by 80's pop sensation Richard Marx.
Yes, Senator Paul thinks that the "Don't Mean Nothing" was behind the package. It also included a picture of the politician in a neck brace and a threatening message. The message allegedly read, “I’ll finish what your neighbor started, you...” Paul believes this was in connection to Marx publicly thanking someone for assaulting him in 2017. “Just this weekend Richard Marx called for violence against me and now we receive this powder-filled letter," Paul tweeted out.
Regardless of your political opinion threatening actions like this should not be tolerated under any circumstance. I hope that Richard Marx would not stoop to this level and whoever sent the package will be caught and face consequences. The FBI has launched an investigation into the incident.
