Hundreds of flights on American Airlines were canceled this weekend and for Monday. Officials blamed a mix of bad weather, staffing shortages, and a rapid increase in customer demand. According to Flight Aware, nearly 200 American Airlines flights were canceled Sunday and 430 were delayed. A statement from American also warned more cancellations are likely on the way as they shuffle things around through mid-July.
