Cornelius Makes Top 5 For Best Lake Town to Live in the United States

All my life I lived on the water. I never really knew how lucky I was until I eventually moved away. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing into the beach was so peaceful and seeing the water outside my window was simple peace.

Now since I live in Charlotte, the closest beach is about 3 1/2-4 hours away. It’s very sad but luckily there are plenty of lakes! Thanks to Wallethub, the 2021 rankings of best lake towns have been released. Well, ranking at number 5 is our very own Cornelius, North Carolina with a score over 60! Coming in at sixth is neighbors Davidson, North Carolina and lower on the list at number 45 is Hope Mills, North Carolina. You can see the full list of the best lake towns to live in below.
