Breakfast meats are life. I don’t care what you say, bacon, sausage, and pork roll are some of the best breakfast meats. If I had to pick, it would be a tie between bacon and sausage. Bacon is one of my favorite things, but I do also love breakfast sausage. Well now, I’m about to get the best of both worlds with a new creation, sausage strips.
Rolling out to grocery stores nationwide this summer are Johnsonville Sausage Strips. This is a new product line of fully cooked smoked sausage that looks and cooks like bacon but is sausage. Johnsonville Sausage Strips feature a smoked sausage flavor and are made with premium cuts of pork and no MSG. They are available in four flavors: Original, Spicy, Maple, and Chorizo. I would love to taste that Maple!
If you want to try ut some sausage strips you can find these in the precooked bacon section in grocery stores. You will get 12 strips in each package.
