A woman from St. Helena Island in South Carolina ended up with an extra special birthday gift when a scratch-off lottery ticket she bought landed her a $50,000 prize.

The St. Helena Island woman told South Carolina Education Lottery officials she treated herself to a $2 Jumbo Bucks ticket from the Seaside Mini Market in St. Helena Island.

The woman said she bought the ticket because it was her special day. The birthday girl said she was surprised when she scratched off the BIG $50,000 prize. "I still can't believe I won. It's awesome." Way to go winning big! Six top prizes of $50,000 remain in the $2 Jumbo Bucks instant ticket game of odds in 1 in 600,000.
