Chesterbrook Academy Preschool Raised More Than $130 for Charity
This story will warm your heart. If you ever think you can’t do something, think of the marvelous work these preschoolers did and push forward.
Thanks to Patch community contributor Kerry Owens, we got to learn all about the Chesterbrook Academy Preschool and the amazing charity work they recently did. Summer campers at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool on Mallard Creek Road in Charlotte recently held a lemonade stand and raised more than $130 to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
Known also as ALSF, this is a national childhood cancer foundation dedicated to funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families, and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer. The Chesterbrook Academy Preschool Campers staffed the stand and sold lemonade to their fellow campers, families, staff, and teachers while learning the importance of helping children in need. Great work!
