For years, I found these to be the most frustrating clubs to hit. So much so that I banished them from my bag. Then, I came across a tip from a teaching pro that struck home for me, and since then, I've always had a 15-degree three metal in my setup and it sure does shorten par 5s <g>. This week, our resident Master Teaching Professional, Nick Jacobi (GM-Stonebridge Golf Club), hopefully can have the same effect for you and turn those fairway metals from a liability to a strength.
