North Carolina Has Two of the Best Universities in the World

Rankings of the world's best colleges have been released by U.S. News & World Report. One of our colleges made the top 25 list here in North Carolina. That makes it even more impressive since it applies to the entire world, not just the United States.

So, which school is on top? According to the report, which came out Tuesday (Oct. 26), the No. 1 spot goes to Harvard University located in Massachusetts. In North Carolina, the No. 23 university in the whole world is Duke University. This university is located in Durham, North Carolina.

Of course, North Carolina has plenty of good schools, so it's no shock more made the best global university list. On U.S. News & World Report’s new list, No. 39 was given to UNC-Chapel Hill located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. You can see more of the best universities globally here. Way to go North Carolina!
