An Ohio man says he lost his hearing after a cockroach reportedly crawled into his ear while he was asleep at a Myrtle Beach hotel according to The Hookup. A lawsuit was filed March 21.

Todd VanSickle alleges that it happened while he was staying at the Sands Ocean Club Resort and while he was asleep a roach crawled in his ear and caused severe pain.

The lawsuit is claiming Sands Ocean Club was negligent in failing to inspect for cockroaches and having a pest control service. The lawsuit also has grievances against the property owners claiming they failed to have the room clean and the area safe.

The Ohio man claims the hotel's negligence caused him to incur medical expenses and continued pain . Reportedly New13 has reached out to the hotel for comment.

Of course if true this is not a good scenario but I will say this. Sometimes "Palmetto Bugs" fly in everywhere no matter how clean the place may be. They are ugly. They are scary but sometimes they are unavoidable.
