Cheslie Kryst’s Mother Speaks Out For The First Time Since Her Suicide
This episode of Red Table Talk was a very emotional one. The mother of Cheslie Kryst, April Simpkins sat down at the red table to talk.
Cheslie’s mother spoke about their relationship and how they were best friends. She also accounted the day she found out her daughter was no longer on this earth. Jada got extremely emotional during this episode. Cheslie’s death was hard for a lot of people I think.
Cheslie’s mother spoke about her daughter was suffering from depression. She wasn’t aware of how severe her depression was. She also shared that this attempt was not Cheslie’s first time attempting suicide. With May being mental health awareness month, we have to always remember we have to take care of our mental health. A lot of people suffer in silence dealing with mental health crisis and we have to make sure we help our strong friends.
