Stephen Curry will be honored at his alma mater. The NBA superstar and North Carolina native will receive 3 accolades from Davidson College today, Wednesday, August 31st.
The “Curry for 3″ ceremony will begin at 2:30 pm. Curry will formally receive his degree, he will be inducted into the Davidson Athletics Hall of Fame, and the college will retire his jersey #30.
Curry attended Davidson College from 2006 to 2009. He officially graduated this past May with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in sociology. He is also a graduate of Charlotte Christian School. Curry is the son of NBA player and Charlotte Hornet’s announcer, Dell Curry. He was the seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors. He is a 2 time NBA MVP and 4 time NBA champion.
