Personally, I have never been apple picking but it does sound like a cool activity to give a try this year. Plus, since I am in North Carolina I can enjoy one of the best in the country.
Yelp curated a list of the top 25 apple picking spots in the United States and guess what? One apple-picking spot in North Carolina is on that list! Ever heard of Grandad's Apples? Well, this apple-picking spot in Hendersonville, North Carolina came in at No. 23 on the list.
Grandad's Apples is a family-owned location that has been operating since 1994. This family-owned farm is home to 120 acres of land. The farm offers a variety of apples throughout the seasons that people can enjoy while out and about apple picking. Besides apple picking, visitors can enjoy a variety of activities including a corn maze, cow train, and even an apple cannon!
