Charlotte Was Not Voted The Best Food City In North Carolina

A lot of times when you are thinking of the best food in a state you think of the largest cities. Though that isn't always the case, with some smaller towns being a sort of hidden gem for foodies. But when it comes to the best food city in North Carolina Charlotte did not take the win. And while I can see the argument for the Queen City to take the title, I'm actually not too surprised in the place that did.

And no this isn't my rankings. They are actually from LoveFoodBlog. The site ranked the best food city in every state. Some are the capitals, others are coastal towns or other small towns. But after researching some I have probably added some new destinations to my travel bucket list. The South Carolina winner didn't surprise me in the slightest with Charleston taking home the title. Other cities like New York City and Las Vegas also unsurprisingly came out on top.

Do you agree with these rankings? What would you switch out? Let us know on social media. But first, browse the top food city in each state including North Carolina. And don't let the pictures get you too hungry. That salad I brought for lunch today may not cut it now!
