Looks like Millennials are doing a lot of relocating this year. Millennials are constantly finding new places to lay down roots and start their lives. From relocating for work, just picking a favorite city, or finding new places to explore they are certainly moving out of their hometowns. A recent study done by Smart Asset shows that there are a few cities that top the list for the new home for many millennials in 2022.

Smart Asset analyzed where millennials are moving to determine which cities in the United States are the top places Millennials are relocating to. Comparing the number of people who have moved between the ages of 25 and 39 has shown a lot of results. One North Carolina city was in the top 5 and I am sure we are not shocked about this one. Can you guess which North Carolina city is in the top 5?

Raleigh, North Carolina is the No. 4 city that millennials are moving to in 2022. It seems that many people between 25 and 39 are loving the Raleigh area. With different job opportunities, a great housing market, and more happening in Raleigh the city is growing and glowing. Washington ranks second in the US for technology and innovation which isn't shocking since companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and T Mobile have their headquarters there.

1. North Carolina

North Carolina ranked number one in CNBC's state economics rankings which factors into things like job growth and credit rating.  It's also a headquarter for companies such as Bank of America and Lowe's.
