If it's one thing we have learned, it's that everyone loves pizza. The dough, the cheese, the crispy crust, and the toppings are all part of the reason why we enjoy it. But, as for many of you, we always want to try and find some of the best local pizza spots. Of course, we enjoy our Pizza Hut and Papa John's too, but I am talking about some authentic, wood-fired grilled pizzerias. Those are the type of spots that I enjoy finding and trying over and over again!

Thrill List compiled their list of some of the best and must-try pizza spots in America. From California to New Mexico to Arizona and to right here in North Carolina! You can check out some of these great pizza spots and maybe next time you're on vacation near one of them give it a try. But, back to North Carolina as we wonder who took home the prize for our state. Well, the only Carolina pizza joint to make the list is Mission Pizza Napoletana in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This pizza joint is North Carolina's FIRST Napoletana pizzeria. They use their very own handmade Stefano Ferrara oven to cook your pizza to perfection. They are also serving up a full menu that includes items beyond pizzas such as pasta, salads, vegetables, and more! Sounds like I need to head to Winston-Salem and give this pizza spot a try ASAP!
