BOSTON, MA – JANUARY 27: A pedestrian dressed as “bigfoot” makes their way through the strong wind and snow in the Back Bay neighborhood during a blizzard on January 27, 2015 in Boston, Massachusetts. Twenty-six inches of snow fell on Boston by the late afternoon, and up to 33 inches in other parts of Massachusetts. (Photo by Kayana Szymczak/Getty Images)

Now, we have truly seen some crazy things but a big-foot-themed restaurant is definitely new to me. I have heard quite a bit of things regarding big foot, but a restaurant... never! But, now I am intrigued. North Carolina is home to a Big Foot themed tap house located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Bigfoot Taphouse is a family-owned taphouse offering a unique experience to anyone interested in Bigfoot himself. During your time at Bigfoot Taphouse, you can enjoy high-quality beer, snacks, ice cream, and more. Sounds like a place I want to go and check out!

Only in Your State shares a few photos of this unique Taphouse to help you preview the experience. The taphouse welcomes you at the door with a giant Bigfoot ready to guide you to your table. Then, inside the building is a wall full of high-quality beer options that you can choose from. The food menu is simple but delicious. Enjoy a great soft pretzel or a hot dog loaded with some great toppings. They are even serving up ice cream with a few different flavors like sea salt vanilla, chocolate, salted caramel, or peanut butter Oreo. Okay, maybe the ice cream is all I needed to let me know this is somewhere I want to visit. There is tons of cool decor set up throughout the building to give you that true Bigfoot feel. I think it's time to head to Raleigh and check this place out. Right?

North Carolina Restaurant Named Top Date Night Spot

While most people have favorite restaurants, those places may not necessarily be considered the best in the world. Well, now Tripadvisor is letting us know which restaurants are, so if you're a traveling foodie, read on.

The travel site just came out with their Travelers' Choice “Best of the Best” Awards for restaurants, based on a full year of Tripadvisor reviews. The list consists of restaurants in six continents and 51 countries. Establishments are broken down into the following categories: Fine Dining, Everyday Eats, Quick Bites, Picture-Perfect Restaurants, Date Night, and Hidden Gems.

Earning the honor of Top Fine Dining spot in the U.S. is the Lahaina Grill, in Lahaina, Hawaii, which also landed at number 19 on the Best Restaurants in the World list. The Old Stamp House Restaurant in Ambleside, United Kingdom is the World number one for a second year in a row.

The Restaurant at Gideon Ridge in Blowing Rock, North Carolina took second place on the U.S. fine dining list, but was also named the Top Date Night spot in the U.S. That's not surprising, given that it overlooks the Blue Ridge Mountains from an elevation of 3,990 feet. Circa 1886 in Charleston, South Carolina is sixth on the Date Night list.
