Are you a fan of the Food Network? If so, then you know the one and only Guy Fieri. I am a huge fan of the Food Network and he is a top-tier chef and host to know. Guy Fieri is the host of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, Guy's Grocery Games, Tournament of Champions, and more! Of course, with Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives he has visited so many restaurants throughout the Carolinas. One spot in South Carolina is one of the best he has ever visited.

Mashed curated a list of some of the best restaurants to ever be visited by Guy on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. So, if you are a fan like me then this list may be super helpful for you. But, guess what? One South Carolina restaurant was named one of the best places Guy has ever been. South Carolina is known for some spectacular food and we know Guy always loves his North and South Carolina spots. Early Bird Diner in Charleston, South Carolina was named of Guy's top restaurants for South Carolina. As a Charleston girl myself, I certainly understand.

Early Bird Diner opened in 2008 and serves a great selection of breakfast and lunch every day. Enjoy pancakes, omelettes, fried green tomato sandwiches, chicken and waffles, and more! When Fieri visited, he tried out their famous chicken and waffles and clearly got him hooked instantly. Another top seller that the restaurant offers is their fried pork chop. While most people have favorite restaurants, those places may not necessarily be considered the best in the world. Well, now Tripadvisor is letting us know which restaurants are, so if you're a traveling foodie, read on.

The travel site just came out with their Travelers' Choice “Best of the Best” Awards for restaurants, based on a full year of Tripadvisor reviews. The list consists of restaurants in six continents and 51 countries. Establishments are broken down into the following categories: Fine Dining, Everyday Eats, Quick Bites, Picture-Perfect Restaurants, Date Night, and Hidden Gems.

Earning the honor of Top Fine Dining spot in the U.S. is the Lahaina Grill, in Lahaina, Hawaii, which also landed at number 19 on the Best Restaurants in the World list. The Old Stamp House Restaurant in Ambleside, United Kingdom is the World number one for a second year in a row.

The Restaurant at Gideon Ridge in Blowing Rock, North Carolina took second place on the U.S. fine dining list, but was also named the Top Date Night spot in the U.S. That's not surprising, given that it overlooks the Blue Ridge Mountains from an elevation of 3,990 feet. Circa 1886 in Charleston, South Carolina is sixth on the Date Night list.
