Here Is Why A Popular Charlotte, North Carolina Steakhouse Got A “B” From Health Inspector

For the record, I have been here several times and it was delicious.  Here is why a popular Charlotte, North Carolina steakhouse got a "b" rating from the Mecklenburg County health department.

Morton's The Steakhouse at 227 West Trade Street in Charlotte got the less than favorable rating from the Mecklenburg County Health department reportedly due to multiple violations.  Some having to do with food storage according to the Charlotte Observer.  Dirty dishes were also found at the time of inspection according to the paper.

Everything that was in violation was corrected but this is not the first time this Charlotte Morton's steakhouse has received a B score.  The paper says this is the fifth "B" since March of 2022.  To read more details, you can get them here from the Charlotte Observer.

I will not let this less than favorable grade keep me from giving them another chance.  The steaks are too good.  I am betting they won't let it happen again:)

La Belle Helene will offer guests a Valentine's Day 3-course prix-fixe menu for the day. The price will be at $90+ a person plus tax plus gratuity. During Valentine's Day night, their regular menu will not be an option. Your final price will be based upon the entree that you order.

Church and Union is offering a Valentine's Day 3-course prix-fixe menu. The price of the meal will be beginning at $90 a person plus tax and gratuity.

MICO at Grand Bohemian Hotel might be a great place to spend Valentine's Day night. They will offer a three course menu. The menu will be $125 per person excluding tax and service charges.

Dressler's Restaurant has two Charlotte locations that you can visit for Valentine's Day. Both locations are offering a Valentine's Day three course menu. The price will be $110 per person including tax and gratuity. Guests will get the choice of an appetizer, salad, and entree.

The Melting Pot has two locations that you can visit. Head to Midtown or Lake Norman for Valentine's Day this year. There will be a set menu priced at $98 per person.

Head to Bentley's with your significant other this Valentine's Day. They will offer a special Valentine's Day menu on February 11 and February 14. If you are not able to celebrate during the weekday, then you can celebrate the weekend before.

Head to Old Stone Steakhouse if you are looking for something to do this year. They will be offering a Valentine's Day three-course prix-fixe menu. The dinner will be priced at $40 a person.
