North Carolina Wine, Cheese, And Chocolate Festival Is The Perfect Weekend

If you’re like me, a girl’s weekend is the perfect thing to do to recharge and relax. Usually, my friends and I go to the beach, but we may have to road trip to Raleigh for this festival! Next month, the Annual N.C. Wine, Cheese, and Chocolate Festival is taking place and it sounds perfect.
According to Only In Your State, the yearly celebration will occur on Saturday, April 29 from 1-6 p.m. It’s at Lafayette Village in North Raleigh, which is only 2 1/2 hours from Charlotte. I’ve never heard of this area, so I had to Google it. It’s adorable! It’s a European-style village and it’s so cute. It offers upscale shopping and restaurants, and often has art events and live music. Looking at the pictures online, it reminds me of my time in Italy.
At the festival, you’ll be able to sample wines from numerous regions, taste all kinds of chocolate creations, and enjoy an array of delicious cheeses. Nothing about that sounds bad at all! And if you enjoy shopping, you’ll have the opportunity to check out the cute boutiques at Lafayette Village.

Who doesn’t love a good festival? It’s a great excuse to visit a new town across our state. And luckily there is no shortage of engaging festivals taking place in North Carolina in 2023. North Carolina has so much to offer and many of these small towns might be overlooked by you without the draw of these events. Festivals take place throughout the year.
