$1 Million Lottery Ticket Purchased In North Carolina Set To Expire

Have you bought a lottery ticket lately? If so you might want to dig threw the drawer, your car, or your purse and try to locate it. It could be worth a pretty penny. According to the NC Education Lottery a winning ticket was purchased in the Nov. 7 drawing. You may not remember but this is the same drawing where a California man won a world record $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot. So there were a lot of tickets purchased for this particular drawing. And that $1 Million lottery ticket is set to expire this Sunday, May 7th.

It was sold at the Gas Center 5 at 3440 South College Road in Wilmington. The ticket matched the numbers on all five white balls in the drawing to win the $1 million prize. The winning numbers for the drawing were:

10-33-41-47-56-10

So if you’ve been in the Wilmington area in November and purchased a lottery ticket, do everything you can to find it. Because if you don’t need that extra million I could sure use it! And since I reminded you- remember me when you’re rich.

  • 8. $522 million

    On June 7, 2019, a big ticket was won at a whopping $522 million ($340.0 million cash). This was won by Laarni Bibal with a ticket purchased in San Diego, California.

  • 7. $533 million

    On March 30, 2018, $533 million was won by Richard Wahl of Vernon, New Jersey.

  • 6. $536 million

    On July 8, 2016, $536 million was won by Warren D, LLC, of Indiana.

  • 5. $543 million

    On July 24, 2018, a big $543 million was won by an 11-member Santa Clara County (Calif.) office pool. Way to go!

  • 4. $648 million

    On December 17, 2013, two people got to split $648 million. The two winning tickets ($324 million each) were Steve Tran of Northern California and Ira Curry of Stone Mountain, Georgia.

  • 3. $656 million

    On March 30, 2012, a massive $656 million jackpot was won by 3 lucky people. The 3 winning tickets ($218.6 million each) were taken home by Anonymous in Ottawa, Kansas, Merle and Patricia Butler of Red Bud, Illinois, and The Three Amigos in Milford Mill, Maryland.

  • 2. $1.050 billion

    The pandemic treated someone very well at least. On January 22, 2021, $1.050 billion ($776.6 million cash) was won by the Wolverine FLL Club of Oakland County, Michigan.

  • 1. $1.537 billion

    Right next door on October 23, 2018, a total of $1.537 billion was won by an anonymous player in South Carolina. Amazing.
