Living a rich life! Well, if you are living somewhat of a rich life then you are probably living in some quite wealthy towns. But, some of those wealthy people do enjoy smaller towns more than booming cities. Within the Carolinas, we have a few rich small towns that you can only imagine. So, what are the two richest small towns in the Carolinas you ask? Don't worry, we've got you covered and the answer is right here!

So, we're going to take a bit of a deep dive into the two richest small towns in North and South Carolina to see. Starting in South Carolina, the richest small town is the island of Kiawah Island. Right on the outskirts of Charleston, Kiawah Island has a median income of about $216,750. The area is home to many large homes and often where many famous individuals have their vacation, beach homes. The barrier island is primarily private beach home neighborhoods and resorts. Very exclusive when it comes to those with the money to be able to live in the area.

Now, let's head to North Carolina! In North Carolina, the richest small town is Marvin, North Carolina. Marvin has a median income of roughly $221,350. Marvin is a more rural suburb part of Charlotte, typically for those not wanting to live in the hustle of the city. Beaufort, South Carolina

Starting out with the Carolina cities, we're visiting South Carolina. Beaufort, South Carolina is one of the cutest and most charming small towns in the South and made the top 12 list. This historic small town lies on the banks of the Beaufort River. There is plenty of nature to enjoy outdoor activities, cobblestone roads and historic buildings to bring in all of the charm. You're also not to far away from the beach and can enjoy a relaxing time by the water as well.

Blowing Rock, North Carolina

Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, visit the small town of Blowing Rock. Crazy enough, I drove through the area for the first time the other day and it is quite stunning! It's known for being one of the best vacation destinations up in the mountain. There are tons of restaurants, small shops, and more to enjoy while in the area. They are also known for having a lot of charming rental homes for you and the family to enjoy.

Aiken, South Carolina

Now, we're heading back to South Carolina and going into Aiken. This area is famous for equestrianism and its historic moments. There are museums, culture, art galleries, and more. I have been to Aiken a few times and it is a quiet and calming experience to see.
