If it’s one thing I am going to eat, it’s some fried chicken. Chicken is one of the first things my dad taught me to deep fry when we were younger. It literally is great anytime of the day and you can enjoy it in so many different ways. Tons of restaurants have great fried chicken options and you sometimes wonder where you can find some of the best. Yelp has a list of some of the best places to grab some fried chicken in the U.S.

Luckily for Charlotte, one of our popular spots made the list of the best fried chicken in the U.S. These spots that made the list had some of Yelp’s best reviews for fried chicken. Coming in at No. 9 is Haberdish in Charlotte, North Carolina. This southern style restaurant is known for its crispy fried chicken, southern vegetables, and other famous side plates. Located in the NoDa area, plenty of people have raved about this famous Southern restaurant. You can also make their famous fried chicken or chicken tenders Nashville hot for an extra kick of spice. I personally have never been to this spot, but I will be adding it to my list for sure. Their menu also features classic items such as hushpuppies, BBQ ribs, smoked deviled eggs, smokey boiled peanuts, collard greens, mac and cheese, and MORE!

I am more than a little embarrassed to admit this, but I used to think Buffalo wings were named after the animal. You, of course, know, Buffalo wings originated in Buffalo, New York.  Here are the five best spots for chicken wings in South Carolina.

When you look up what people love most to eat at football parties you will find chicken wings top of the list.  Personally, I go for the chicken drumettes.  Chicken wings and drumettes are crowd-pleasers.  If you put out a tray of this delicious party food, trust me it will be empty the fastest.  I know this from personal experience.

To dip or not to dip, that is the question.  Some people enjoy a little extra on their chicken wings.  But, most chicken wings come flavored already.  Let’s see there is barbecue, teriyaki, plain, and sesame… the choices are endless.  If you have a hankering for a certain flavor, you can slap it on a chicken wing!
