Kiawah Island is just southwest of Charleston and is a very beautiful island to explore. The area is popular for golfers, vets, or rookies. As someone from Charleston, I have been to Kiawah Island before and there are some great things to do. You can relax at a spa, do some dolphin sightings, visit a nature center, and so much more. Now, if you were not already thinking Hawaii would be pretty high up on the list then I don't know what to tell you. Coming in at #1 is the Hawaii island of Kauai. Hawaii is absolutely one of my must visit cities for sure! It looks absolutely stunning. You and your significant other could enjoy the island and all it has to offer. Visit their state park, soak up the sun on the beach, go zip lining, and MORE! Sounds like an amazing honeymoon to me already.

If you don't want to go to one island, then how about the other? Coming in at #2 on the list is Maui in Hawaii. The tropical scenery and sandy beaches are the perfect honeymoon getaway for the warm embracers. You can go hiking through national parks, eat great local food, catch a tan at the beach, ride a helicopter, and so much more when you're visiting Maui.
