North Carolina Man Wins Big Prize From Scratch-Off
North Carolina has another big winner in the lottery. Recently, a man in Durham won a big prize from a scratch-off ticket according to WNCT.
Carlos Reyes Maldonado decided to purchase a $5 scratch-off ticket and ended up winning a top prize of $150,000.
He just went to the food mart and came home a lot richer. This lucky ticket was purchased from West Club Boulevard in Durham at Tiger Mart.
On February 15th he showed up at the lottery headquarters to claim his lucky prize and took home $107,251 after state and federal tax withholdings. Not a bad chunk of change.
In November the Holiday Gold game debuted with its four top prizes of $150,000. One of these prizes is still yet to be claimed.
