Wilson To Charlotte? Panthers Legend Wants Team To Draft NC State Star

I’ve said since day one of the preseason this year that I refuse to give the Panthers any money on tickets or merchandise until they have a winning record. I’m…

I've said since day one of the preseason this year that I refuse to give the Panthers any money on tickets or merchandise until they have a winning record. I'm sticking to that (though if someone wants to give me tickets so I can see Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals when they come to Charlotte I'd very happily accept). There is one exception to this rule I would make though. And it's one Luke Kuechly wants to happen. The Panthers legend wants his former team to draft an NC State star. If they do I'll buy that jersey.

In an interview with the Up and Adams Show Luke Kuechly was asked who he would take with the team's first pick. And his answer, not only makes perfect sense but would make this NC State alumnus extremely happy. Wilson played his entire career for the Wolfpack and will forever be remembered as a legend in the red and white.

Payton Wilson

The linebacker was a consensus All-American in his final season with the Pack. He also won the Butkus Award for the nation's best linebacker. Wilson led the ACC in tackles averaging 11.5 per game and tackles for loss with 17.5. He also finished the season with six sacks, 10 pass breakups, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and three interceptions one of which was a pick-six.

There have been comparisons already between the two players in stature, athletic ability, and passion. I watched Kuechly throughout his time with the Panthers as well as Wilson. Both players approach the game with a fire and tenacity that can't be taught. And that grit is what makes him one of the most beloved players in NC State history and why he'd be an asset and fan favorite player on any NFL team.

I can only hope we'd be lucky enough to get such a dynamic asset. The biggest downside that will make Wilson fall to a place where the Panthers could draft him is his injury history. Something that ultimately led to Kuechly's early retirement. Will the Panthers actually draft the NC State star? We will have to wait until April to find out.

Here Are the Top 5 Most Attractive Carolina Panthers Players for 2023

Now, I know you read this title and wondering who made the list. Well, football season is my favorite time of the year. When it comes to the weekends, I am ready to enjoy days' worth of games. We've got high school games on Fridays, colleges on Saturdays, and NFL on Sundays and Mondays. It's the perfect lineup for always having something to watch. But, I am still a woman, so I may be enjoying the sport but you can't miss the way some of these men look. You can't help it! Sometimes, the eye candy is just beyond undeniable. So, what led us here?

I decided since I am now a Charlotte resident, I had to get a bit more familiar with the Carolina Panthers. I didn't grow up a Panthers fan, but you can't really get away from the Panthers when you live right here in the city. This list is my own personal examination of some of the most attractive Panthers' players. We're talking about a range of positions just going down the entire roster and I am picking my top 6. Whew, this shall be fun! If you agree, tell me and if you think someone else should be in the top 6, share that too! This is just a fun list I decided to curate for all of the women out there who may be intrigued by some of these men! Check out below my top 5 most attractive Carolina Panthers players for 2023.

Bryce Young

Now, I could not really do this in order of fine to most fine. So, we're just going to list them off. Starting off with the fresh meat, it's Bryce Young. You may not think Bryce is cute, but I do. Bryce Young is the starting quarterback for the Panthers for this season and was the first round draft pick in the NFL this year. We're excited to see what Young brings to the team this year. They may have lost the first game, but we'll see where things go from here.

Jeremy Chinn

Up next, is Jeremy Chinn. He plays safety for the Carolina Panthers and is one fine piece of man to look at. He is 25 years old, 6'3'', and over 200 lbs. Sounds pretty good to me, right? Just take a look at this photo from his Instagram. Yeah, he certainly had to make the list.

LaBryan Ray

LaBryan Ray is up next on the list. He is a defensive end for the Carolina Panthers for the 2023 season. Ray is 25 years old and 6'4''. He once played for the New England Patriots but is a Panther now. Not only is he attractive, but he has a bit of extra swag when it comes to his fashions.

Tommy Tremble

We're heading to the tight ends now with Tommy Tremble. Tremble is a tight end for the Carolina Panthers and one of the most attractive. He is in a relationship and engaged (for those who are using this list for other things, lol).

Ikem Ekwonu

He is on this list, but he's one of the best smiles in the entire NFL to be honest. Ikem Ekwonu is an offensive tackle for the Carolina Panthers and is only 22 years old. Whew, he's a baby. He is from North Carolina, born in Matthews, NC and now playing for the Panthers. His smile is to honestly die for it's one of the top reasons he's on this list.
