There's just no way to sugarcoat this. Our Carolina Panthers stink. Perhaps, it will turn out to be a historic odor based on the team's week one performance against the New Orleans Saints (47-10 loss). Anyway, if there's one thing I've learned about this team's fanbase in the last 18 years, it's this: they are fickle at best. If the team's great, you can't get a seat at Bank of America Stadium. However, when it's bad, you can't give Carolina Panthers tickets away. That's almost the case this week.

Putting Carolina Panthers Ticket Prices In Perspective

The face value price of very modest seats to the Panthers game against The Los Angeles Chargers this week is around $50. Following the team's dismal performance, you can purchase these same seats for a little more than $20 on secondary retail sites like Vividseats. For those not in the know, these secondary sites make their money by jacking UP the price of tickets, having to go the other way to unload inventory is not a good or sustainable business model.

Now, if you're wondering how these ticket prices stand up with the rest of the National Football League? I'm glad I used the word "stand." Standing-room-only tickets for the Dallas Cowboys home game this week are going for $80. If you want to actually SIT and watch the game, get ready to fork over $400.

Look, Charlotte is a fair-weather sports town when it comes to its professional teams. That's not a criticism, just a fair observation over a long period of time. As long as the team continues its terrible ways (remember, they were 2-15 LAST season), that stadium will remain empty. That being said, if you want to take in a professional football game, and only have to spend roughly what it would take to go to a movie? Now's your chance.

Here’s Where The Panthers Rank Among The Smartest NFL Teams

The records and playoffs will tell what the best team is at the end of the season. But have you ever wondered who the smartest NFL teams are? You may not have- I know I didn't- but it's still an interesting thought! In college you have awards for the players and teams who do the best academically but once you get to the pros that can go under the radio. The focus tends to be on physical skills and less on mental. Though anyone with any knowledge of football will tell you the mental is just as important. Just having all that athletic ability doesn't guarantee you wins if you can't outsmart your opponent. Just because you're twice as fast as your if they can strategize better they have a good chance at a win. With this in mind, have you ever wondered which are currently the smartest teams in the NFL?

And thanks to the NFL Combine and the Wonderlic test Gambling.com was able to determine the smartest NFL teams based on 2022 rosters. If you're not familiar (I wasn't) the Wonderlic test is an intelligence test given to draft prospects at the NFL Combine. Though this was halted this year after controversy. So Gambling.com ranked each NFL team by their average Wonderlic scores. And the Panthers? They came out very mid on this. Which I guess at least we aren't towards the bottom! I just hope this season produces more wins!
